Run (don’t walk) to this experience!”

  • Jeff Bryan Davis

"The best advice I can give any actor is to take [this] class. It has continued to be an invaluable resource in my life and career. Without the knowledge and focus I gained from his process, I'd be years behind where I am today. It's the reason I'm a working actor. It's not just a good idea to take this class. It's a necessity."

  • Jane Anderson

"As a writer and director, I found this workshop invaluable in opening my eyes to the crazy gestalt of personality and image. I've tucked some useful tools into my belt which will help me in everything from pitching to casting to coaxing a great performance out of a reluctant star. Thanks Sam, I'm off to the studio now."

  • Nelson Bonilla

“Gracefully guided to identify my unique traits and characteristics, revealing my true self and why casting chose to see me in the first place. This approach eliminated my hiding and self-doubt, reduced the time I needed to "look or find" the character and ultimately allowed me to present my authentic self."

Self-Assessment Survey

Check any of the following that feel true for you. If you check 3 or more, you’ll benefit deeply from the 4-day Workshop

SELF-PERCEPTION

◻I often wonder what kind of “first impression” I make (and how to control that).

◻I think I know how people see me, but I’m not totally sure.

◻I’ve been described in ways that don’t quite match how I see myself.

◻I’ve changed my look, style, or energy to “fit in” with how I think I should appear.

CONFIDENCE

◻I seek approval from others (at work, on set, etc) to feel confident.

◻I worry about being “too much” or “not enough”.

◻I wish I could feel at peace walking into any room, just as I am.

CAREER

◻My professional image (e.g. headshot) doesn’t fully capture me.

◻I struggle to define my “type”, “brand”, or what makes me unique.

◻I feel like my authenticity gets lost when the pressure’s on - in auditions, interviews, etc.

RELATIONSHIPS

◻I’ve been told I give off a vibe I didn’t intend - “When I first met you I thought you were __”

◻People sometimes misinterpret my tone, humor, or energy.

◻I don’t understand why certain people instantly connect with me and others don’t.

If you checked 3-5 boxes: You’re self aware but perhaps ready for a breakthrough.

If you checked 6 or more: You’re overdue for clarity - this workshop will feel like taking off a mask you didn’t know you were wearing.

Just. Be. Yourself.

We've all been told this at some point in our lives. But it’s confusing. You think, "I was being myself." So it makes us doubt our first impression when stepping into high-stakes situations (interviews, callbacks, presentations, etc).

So what's the issue? Well, your internal perception of yourself doesn't match how the world experiences you.

It’s nearly impossible to experience yourself the way others do. And if you don't admit this difference and understand the implications, you could leave a bad impression. When you leave the room, they think “do they know how they come across?”

When you’re aware of it, and can be publicly self-accepting of your full self, your AUTHENTIC SELF, that’s when they lean in.

That’s when they want more

The Image Workshop is a 4-Day Intensive designed to bring your self-perception and the world’s perception into alignment. This proprietary process was created in Los Angeles over 3 decades ago by Sam Christensen, and came to Atlanta in 2011. The Image Process is now owned by Brooke Jaye Taylor & Matthew Cornwell at our Get Taped studio in Atlanta, GA, USA (and also over Zoom).
