Imagine you’re on set, filming a scene…when the camera operator gives you a technical note… then the boom operator… then the script supervisor…AND the director is giving you character adjustments! It happens all the time!

How do you handle all this mental “noise” and still deliver a performance that won’t end up on the cutting room floor? Come join us to find out!

    Matthew (The Menu, Red One, Will Trent, Fast 8, Den of Thieves) is a proud member of SAG•AFTRA with over 80 IMDb credits. He is a teacher, writer, director, and editor living in Atlanta, GA.

We’ll cover topics including:

  • The trick to hitting your mark every time!

  • Hitting 2-3 marks in one scene

  • Choreographing your movement with the camera

  • Handling notes from the Sound department

  • EMPTY PROPS: understanding the “why” before   practicing the “how”

  • Adjusting to the camera operator’s notes DURING a scene to avoid a busted take

  • Additionally, participants will be sent a scene to self-tape several days before the workshop to cover tips on how to empower yourself at home!
